Driven by Dreams: Volvo Financial Services Supports Klara Andersson’s Rallycross Journey

When most 7-year-olds are busy attending primary school, Klara Andersson was tightening her helmet and stepping into a go-kart. She dreamed of following in her father’s footsteps and becoming a professional rallycross driver. Through hard work, determination and the backing of partners and supporters like Volvo Financial Services (VFS), Klara’s dreams became reality.

“I've always had a passion about motorsport, especially rallycross,” Klara recently shared. “It's so action packed, that feeling you don't get anywhere else. It's truly magical.”

To help turn that passion into performance, VFS and Volvo Construction Equipment are proud to support Klara’s rallycross journey and help her achieve her goals. Klara was the first permanent female driver in FIA World Rallycross history as part of the CE Dealer Team.

The World Rallycross racing championship is the highest class of international rallycross as recognized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The series is leading the transformation to all-electric racing by featuring fully electric cars and sustainable Volvo CE machines to build the racecourses.

As a supporter of Klara and the World Rallycross effort, VFS takes part in each event’s official program to highlight services and solutions available to support customers’ businesses every day.

“Our typical marketing partnerships don’t usually involve drivers of 510 kW (680 HP) cars,” said Nicole East, senior vice president, VFS marketing & communication. “Yet Klara’s journey through World Rallycross with the CE Dealer Team gives us a unique chance to show how the right partnership can turn dreams into reality.”
